How to drink sake

I’ll teach you how to drink sake!

Even if it’s cold or hot

The drinking temperature for Sake is wide, ranging from 5℃ to 60℃, and it is called cold sake or hot sake.
Cold sake is served at around 7℃ to 10℃, and we recommend ginjo sake.
Warm sake is divided into different types depending on the temperature, including human skin sake around 35 degrees Celsius, lukewarm sake around 40 degrees Celsius, and hot sake around 50 degrees Celsius. Warm sake includes types that don’t have strong aromas, such as regular sake, honjozo sake, and junmai sake. it matchs.
You can also drink it chilled at room temperature (15°C to 20°C)!

Be careful not to drink too much

The alcohol content of Sake is around 15%. It is important not to drink too much and get sick! When drinking Western alcoholic drinks, the water you drink between drinks is called a chaser, but for Sake it is called Yawaragimizu. It is said that you can prevent a hangover by having the same amount of water as sake in between. Consult with your own constitution and physical condition, and enjoy drinking so that it won’t affect you the next day!

A unique way to drink sake

There are many ways to drink sake that are unique to Sake.
Sake freezes at around -7℃ to -10℃. If you cool it down to minus 12℃ while keeping it in a liquid state, you can drink sleet [mizore]. When you pour supercooled sake into a glass, it’s interesting to see how it quickly freezes, and it looks great, making it one of the pleasures of drinking.
Tamagozake was also said to be effective against colds. It is a drink made by mixing sake, eggs, and sugar and warming it. Ginger sake made with grated ginger and garlic sake made with steamed and grated garlic are easy to make and will warm your body from the core.

Sake cocktail?

Introducing a surprising way to drink! For example, soda wari. Although it is common in whiskey and spirits, it is often thought to be rare in sake.
